When I worked 12-16 hour days in the Salon, one of the main questions I asked my clients is “WHEN you have access to UNLIMITED RESOURCES what does a day in your life look like”? A handful would answer and many had not thought about it. This amazed me. Of course, I couldn’t stop there. I proceeded to ask prompting questions to encourage them to open up to themselves and think about it. One client in particular said, “I’ve never thought about but I would travel…” 2 weeks later, at her next appointment, she stated that she went home and talked to her husband and they decided to go in trip because they had never traveled before. My heart was filled with Joy!!!
Welcome to the third post of our blog series on the 'From Doubt to Dollars 2.0' Intensive: Declaring Your Independence As we continue to explore limiting beliefs and ways to shift them, we now turn our attention to the end goal: financial independence.
I’ve had the capacity to live in various cities and on an island (truly my ‘happy place’) & my eventual return 🏝️🏝️Island Life 2.0. So far, everywhere I’ve said I wanted live, I’ve lived there. The types of cars I’ve wanted to drive, I’ve had access to or possessed. (Next up is BMW X5 & Maybach). **Note: I didn’t always have a lot of money to ‘afford’ it either...**
We say Yes, achieving financial independence can mean adding zeros to your bank account or not 🤷🏽♀️ and it signifies freedom - the freedom to make choices that align with your aspirations, not your fears or constraints. The freedom to live life on your own terms.
Worth repeating …the freedom to make choices that align with your aspirations not fears or constraint.. ⬅️ That Part! This is important, due to fact that not having money stresses us out, which in turn affects our health and relationships (more on that later). Shifting limiting beliefs changes the game, frfr.
